About us
Food & Beverage Trade South Africa publishes three annual trade directories for the South African food and beverage sector, produced by Malachite Publishing:
- Fresh Food Trade SA: South Africa’s fresh food trade and supply chain directory, now in its twenty-fourth edition (2026).
- Processed Food & Beverage Trade SA: the processed food and beverage trade supply chain directory, tenth edition (2026/27), published in association with the National Department of Agriculture, the dtic, the National Agricultural Marketing Council and Agbiz.
- Wines & Wineries of SA: the visitor’s guide to South African wines and wineries, fifth edition (2025/26).

Yes. The current and previous editions of Fresh Food Trade SA, Processed Food & Beverage Trade SA and Wines & Wineries of SA can be downloaded free of charge after a short registration. Printed copies can be requested using the Request hardcopy button on each guide.

Fresh Food Trade SA covers fresh produce, export marketing, cold chain and related services. Processed Food & Beverage Trade SA covers processed food and beverage manufacturers, suppliers and service providers. Wines & Wineries of SA is a visitor’s guide to South African wine estates.
